ベロニカ・テーラー教授集中講義

2008年1月8日-18日に、ワシントン大学ベロニカ・テーラー教授が「アジアにおける日本法」と題する集中講義を神戸大学で行われます。

講義は全て英語で行われます（ただし、講師のテーラー教授は日本語が大変にご堪能です）。副題を「アジア法、開発法、法整備支援の交差点」とし、コンセプトは以下の通りです。

Within Asia, Eurasia and　Eastern Europe, technical legal assistance is now a key tool for effecting economic transformation. ‘Foreign aid' projects once focused on institutional reforms such as constitutions, courts and property, but the emphasis has shifted to multiple players seeking to strengthen commercial law and marketization. Using interdisciplinary perspectives and case studies, this seminar probes the assumptions, methods and outcomes of commercial law reform in transition economies. We define ‘transition economies’ to include　Japan　and　China.
The course also highlights and critiques the role of international lawyers in this important, emerging area of practice.
